Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learn to draw and label Canada and Greenland by hand.
I have a Master's in Geography and almost ten years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have enjoyed teaching other geography and mapping classes on OutSchool with great success.
Each student needs to spend time daily to practice drawing the portion of the country that the class has learned so far. The more the student practices drawing the provinces, the more successful the student will be.
In each class, the learner will need: - at least one clean letter-size (8 1/2 * 11) piece of paper - pencil with an eraser - the map drawn in the previous class **In addition to the clean piece of paper, bring the map from the previous class to each new class. This will allow the learner to have a reference for review and practice.
There is no official assessment, but the learner's progress will be assessed weekly when we review by drawing what we have previously learned in class.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
