In this ongoing class we will learn drawing techniques each week related to drawing faces and the human figure. Working with observation from a photo reference, we will create drawings showing emotion, expression, and movement.

This class is for students who love to draw people and want to learn realistic drawing techniques and skills related to that. This is a weekly ongoing class which means that students may enroll for as many sessions as they would like, and each lesson stands on its own. Each week we will create a drawing of the human figure within a unique setting, or a portrait expressing an emotion. Student will create one drawing of a portrait or human figure. Student will create one drawing including the following drawing technique: shading, sketching, line variety. Student will demonstrate knowledge of proportion, gesture or expression through drawing.
