Learn to Draw: Basic Skills/Techniques for Drawing People (Age 7-10) (Ongoing)

In this ongoing drawing class we will learn one drawing or sketching technique each week and practice drawing the face or the human figure. We will focus primarily on drawing with shapes and then adding contour lines, details and shading.

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Student will create one drawing of a person or a person's face.
Student will draw a person using shapes and lines.
Student will create a drawing of a person that might portray a character, or a character within a setting. 
I am a K-12 certified art teacher and a professional artist and illustrator. 
White paper, drawing paper or sketchbook Pencil or Pencil set Eraser Optional coloring materials: Colored Pencils Markers Black Sharpie
This class is intended to be relaxed and open-ended, learners may share and ask questions during any time we are working. 
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The slide presentations are presented through Google slides. 
I will be sharing a slide presentation through a screen share. No printables or outside sites/resources are needed or required. My slide presentations are created by me and include photos for reference, art historical images, and my own personal drawings or step-by-step instruction.
