Learn to Draw: Basic Skills/Techniques for Drawing Animals (Age 9-12) (Ongoing)
In this class we will learn about a different animal every week and draw that animal in it's habitat. Designed for beginners or curious learners, we will begin each drawing with geometric shapes and then add details and color.

Description
Class Experience
Students will work on a drawing of an animal within it's habitat. Students will sketch the animal using basic geometric shapes. Students may add characteristics and details using color or pattern.
I am a K-12 certified art educator and professional artist/illustrator.
White drawing paper or sketchbook Eraser Pencil Black Marker Colored pencils, markers or crayons
Learner will be informally assessed through discussion and sharing.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Source material will be provided.
