Class Experience
This one-time class is all about drawing adorable cartoon-style animals with a fun, winter theme! To welcome in the winter season, we will look at drawing three different simple cartoon animals. I will guide students with simple, step-by-step directions on how to draw the animals. If we have time after we complete the drawings, I will offer suggestions and inspiration on how to add on to the design and students will work independently to personalize or color their art. Students will learn to draw simple animals in a cartoon style.
I am a certified art teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education (K-12). I have taught art to students of all ages through art centers, summer art camps, and public schools.
Paper Pencil An eraser -- Optional: Coloring materials (colored pencils, markers, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
