Class Experience

In this one-time class students will build upon techniques to sketch and draw a city street scene by utilizing an off-center perspective that adds a visual angle that represents 3D.

This class is built upon the techniques in my other other Street Scene Sketching Class but it is taught independently. Students will first learn to draw different stylized buildings building up their scene and then add an off-center view using a 3D approach making each one of their buildings have depth and shadows.

Once laid out we will add shadow and light and finish coloring in our scenes. Learners will be encouraged to share their work with the class.

It is highly recommended that a ruler and eraser be brought to this lesson.

If you would like to draw a street scene without a 3D perspective please check out the class below.
