In this class we will learn how to draw a barn owl step by step with pencil. I have a second camera where you will be able to clearly see each step of the drawing process, and I will explain special techniques and tips along the way. This class is suited for both beginners and students with previous pencil drawing experience. While this class takes concentration to work on the drawing, the atmosphere will be fun, laid back and interactive. The purpose of this class is to build drawing skills in a supportive environment, and enjoy the art process. I will also share interesting facts and information about the barn owl throughout the class, so we can learn more about this amazing animal.

Students will build & improve on their drawing skills by learning about foundational shapes, shading techniques, and how to add texture and value to a drawing.Other Details

I have over six years of teaching experience within elementary schools, preschools, and community centers, and taught art at an elementary school for two years. I have experience working with children between the ages of 2 and 16 years old.
