Class Experience

Does your child LOVE Minecraft? Do they like to draw? This course is for them! In this class, they will learn to draw a self portrait that looks like a Minecraft skin... even cooler than the ones in the game's store! This course is beginner friendly as I will teach them how to draw it step-by-step with the graph paper grid to guide them. Students can also chat with each other about Minecraft while we color our self portrait.

Class will be structured as follows:
1) Introduction
2) Teacher will model and guide students how to draw their self portrait with pencil
3) Students will color and decorate their Minecraft self portrait as they chat about the game. Note: students who tend to take more time with their art may not finish coloring during this course. That's okay! They will be able to finish this on their own after class.

I am an elementary school teacher and I have a bubbly, easygoing teaching style! I look forward to seeing your child in my class!

Outside of work, I love to play video games in my spare time and I am a cat and dog lover! I currently have a cat named Orion, who might make a surprise appearance in class because he is nosey.
