In this step-by-step class, students will learn to draw shapes in 3-D! Topics covered will include, learning the names for each 3-D shape, drawing techniques, how to shade the shapes, and ideas for continued practice at home. No prior experience is required! All learners will be supported and encouraged, and variances in how the shapes look will be celebrated and applauded - no two shapes will be the same! Learners should bring at least 3 sheets of paper, a #2 pencil, eraser, and an (optional) straight edge. Great for learners ages 6-8 years.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the names of three dimensional (3-D) shapes, Students will watch and then demonstrate the step-by-step process of drawing shapes such as pyramids, rectangular prisms, and spheres. Students will watch and then demonstrate how to properly shade each shape to achieve the 3-D look.

Supply List
3+ sheets of plain paper, one sharpened #2 pencil, eraser, straight edge (optional).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
