Class Experience

Welcome to the exciting world of programming, in this class we will make a portfolio page! This is an introductory level class, and if you don't know how to code, that is a-ok. During this class, students will learn the basics of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language). HTML tells your browser how to structure the web page you are visiting, it's kind of like a skeleton! We will explore HTML structure, elements, images, browser debugging, and coding best practices! By the end of class, students will...

Students will learn the basics of HTML, including, structure, html tags, viewing source code in the browser, and approaches to debugging.

- Students must have a laptop or PC. No tablets or smart phones.
- We will use Codepen.io (https://codepen.io/) which can be accessed in a browser of choice. I will demonstrate in Google Chrome

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Codepen.io

1 hour 5 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
