Welcome to the Research Lab! I hope you are excited to start your very own Pokemon journey. My fellow Professors and I have recently discovered a new Pokemon species, and we were hoping you could help us learn more about it. Are you up to the challenge? In this class, students will use Math, English, and Science skills to create their own Pokemon. Students will learn units of measurement, writing with descriptive language, and principles of ecosystems.
I have tutored students in various subjects over the years, including English, Math, and General Science.
Students will be assigned a brief homework assignment per week.
Students may wish to have a calculator for the Math assignment. Students will need coloring pencils or something else to color with. Students will need a pen and paper for notes. Students will need to print out a worksheet for the final project.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will present their final Pokemon to the class on the last day, combining the elements from the first three classes.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
