Class Experience

Students will be able to bake cream puffs with a whipped cream. If time permits I can show them extra fillings and how to make them.
I am an at home baker and cookie maker. I have created items for weddings and big events.
I recommend that students have all their ingredients and utensils ready before class. This way students do not feel rushed.
When students enroll, I will send them an attachment with the recipe. Ingredients: 1/2 cup (4 fl oz, 118 ml) water 1/2 cup (4 fl oz, 118 ml) milk 1 stick (1/2 cup, 4 oz, 113 gr) salted butter, cut into pieces- it can also be unsalted. I prefer salted. large pinch of salt 1 cup (4.25 oz, 119 grams) all-purpose flour 4 large eggs Heavy cream or a can of whipped cream Powdered Sugar or regular would work Utensils: Medium saucepan Whisk or Spoon Spatula Oven and stove top Stand Mixer or hand mixer Measuring Cups Large Pastry Bag and If you don't have a pastry bag you can use a Zip-lock bag and I will show you a cool trick Pans lined with Slip mat or parchment paper Knife - nothing too sharp
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be working with tlhe stove and a 425 degree oven which can be dangerous. While we say just for students to be in class, Parents should be nearby to ensure that students do not injure temselves.
