Class Experience

George Washington became the richest man in America, U.S. President and Revolutionary War General despite leaving school at age 15. His secret to success – asking great questions of everyone he met.

The old saying, “There’s no such thing as a bad question” is wrong. They waste time and energy. Smart students gain confidence, knowledge and advantages by asking good questions on any topic.

Award-winning journalist Rick Snider has asked more than 100,000 questions of royals, athletes, entertainers, rock stars, politicians and even a famous horse or two over his 40-plus years as a reporter. Now he’ll show students the best way to learn by asking great questions.

Classes will include mock interviews with George Washington and Ironman. Students will learn how to gain needed information from their questions. But mostly, they’ll gain confidence and never be afraid to ask question again.

The class is limited to 3 students to permit more interaction.

I’m a Washington journalist and tour guide who brings storytelling of U.S. history to Outschool. I’ve taught more than 500 students over nearly four years about U.S. Presidents and First Ladies, Founding Fathers, George Washington’s spies, Sons of Liberty, Lincoln assassination and even modern athletes and entrepreneurs who changed America. And, I also teach students how to ask great questions to improve their school work and public speaking skillls. We have fun and open dialogue with small classes so your student gets extra attention. So come ready to learn things not normally discussed in traditional classes. I’m Rick Snider and I hope to see your student soon.
