Description

Class Experience

In our 30-minute class, your child will learn how to describe the weather using Spanish words. 

First, I will introduce six different types of weather. Your child will then learn to describe the weather using a complete sentence. 

To reinforce learning, we will act out each type of weather and make a drawing. We will have fun by asking the question ¿Cómo está el clima? (How is the weather?) and responding accordingly.

This class is taught in English.

 I will provide a document with the words learned in class and with fun activities for your child to practice further at home.

Paper and markers.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Parent involvement depends on the child’s learning habits and age. Kids ages 4 to 6 may need some support in the first couple of classes while they get familiar with Zoom and class activities. Older kids usually do well on their own; however, some supervision helps when they have difficulty focusing or if they get distracted easily
