In this PRIVATE, one-time class, students will learn about the 5 vowels. They will learn their names and the sounds they make, while following a fun story with Bob. (This class is very good for ESL learners also)

Vowels are special letters because they make two sounds, but this also makes it more difficult to learn the sounds they make. In this one-time class Bob will go to Old MacDonald's farm to help with chores but when the farmer ask Bob to have the vowels help him, Bob admits he doesn't know what vowels are. Students will learn what vowels are and that every word has at least 1 vowel. Students will learn that there are 5 vowels in the alphabet. Students will learn that each vowel makes 2 sounds. Students will learn the two sounds vowels make are called long and short. Student will categorize words into long and short sounds.
