Class Experience
Learning the vowel letters and sounds is the KEY to learning to READ. After all, every word in the English language must contain at least one vowel! I have created "vowel people" by integrating the letter into a picture! In addition, I have created a simple story to go along with each vowel person. This helps kids to engage and retain the information. For example, Letter A needs to sneeze! Letter A says /ah/ /ah/ /ah/ as in achoo! Small A forms the head of the person. When a child...
Students will learn the vowel letter shape and sounds. They will be able to recognize the letters a,e,i,o,u and tell the sounds these letters make.
For homework, students can make Vowel People Stick puppets using the free printable I provide. They can continue to practice the sounds that the vowels make.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner will be given an informal assessment during the class.
