In this class students will be taught the rules for the fun "language" of Pig Latin. I will demonstrate how to use the rules on various words and phrases. Students will practice saying and decoding some common phrases and will then get a chance to try some on their own while talking to me and each other. The only thing that learners need to know ahead of time is the difference between vowel sounds and consonant sounds. This is an interactive class and students will need to remain unmuted for the most part.

I live in the country with my husband and our cat. We are the parents of 2 grown children and we love to travel.
I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Arkansas and have an Arkansas teaching certificate for grades K-6. I just retired after teaching fourth grade for 28 years. I also teach ESL online.
My academic courses include elementary math, science and language arts. I also teach cooking and crafting.
