I will provide a document with the vocabulary and some fun activities for your child to practice at home. Your child can also continue their learning by identifying any fruits you may have in your house.Class Experience
In our 30-minute class, your child will learn the Spanish word for different fruits (e.g., manzana, uvas, naranja, plátano, fresa, sandia, mango) and learn to identify each one. This class is an A1 level based on the CEFR. I will first introduce the vocabulary, making sure that your child will have fun through my use of props, including puffy animals, toys and more. To reinforce learning, your child will then draw the fruits in their very own grocery store using their imagination. A template will be supplied. Finally, your child will show their grocery store while identifying the fruits they sell. My classes are limited to one to five students so that each one will have an equal opportunity to practice and receive timely correction. I am a native Spanish speaker and an ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) certified teacher. My puppet friends and I are excited to visit your child’s very own grocery store!

¡Hola! My name is Profesora Mary, and I am excited to help your child learn Spanish.
I truly love working with children with my puppet friends: Pancho, Beto, Moño, and Lucía. Your child will love learning Spanish — at their pace — while playing games and singing songs with me and my friends. Your child will also have fun through my use of many props, including puffy animals, toys and more.
My ultimate goal when I teach is to make sure that my students obtain the skills to communicate in Spanish. I do this while making sure that my students have fun while learning. My class activities help students connect the learning material to their own world, facilitating language acquisition.
Teaching and learning languages are two of my passions. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to combine them and make them my profession. There is no other job that I could enjoy more, and I love to share my enthusiasm and energy with students in my classes.
I have worked very hard to be a qualified teacher, and I have achieved this through online and in-person teaching experience and by obtaining a number of certificates related to language instruction and teaching young learners. I am a certified ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera - Spanish as a Foreign Language) Teacher and a native Spanish speaker.
I am a mom and some of my hobbies include learning languages, making crafts and playing the flute.
I look forward to helping your child learn!
