** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions** Welcome to Coding class with Unity! This class will ensure that your student learns the basics of unity to make fun 2D games. As the student improves their skills and understanding of the basics, they can use these basics to make amazing 2D games. They will also be learning the different types of 2D games there are and learn more of the physics behind them. We will start slow in order to make sure everyone fully understands and is enjoying the process. The learners will have plenty of opportunity to interact with me and each other! Week 1 : Make sure installations are correct, learn how to use unity and visual studios. If we have time we learn Assignment 1 which includes movement with your keyboard and mouse. Week 2: We will learn more on the different types of 2D games, and create our own bounce of the walls game. If there is time we will learn about enemies and how they work. Week 3: We will be using the basics from week 1 and week 2. In which we make enemies that come from different directions and bounce off the walls, and will have to dodge them. Week 4: We will make a final game that solidifies the knowledge of the first 3 weeks, the student will have creative freedom to create a miniature game of their own with what they have learned.

The license for Unity and visual studios is free. They do not need anything else, but their computers and the software installed.
