Description
Class Experience
Create a (free) account on the Scratch website Laptop or desktop (Chromebooks and tablets are not compatible with Scratch 3.0) (Optional) Some students like to have a device that they are using for the zoom meeting so that they can work on Scratch on their computer without needing to switch back and forth
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scratch is a coding community that allows students to share their projects with other users. We will be reviewing digital citizenship/safety in class, but discussing this with your child is also advised. I will be advising the students to keep their projects private unless they have permission from their parent/guardian to publish it.
