Oh no! The horses have gotten out! Come along while we catch some horses and we will learn the sounds and how to write letters U-Z! We will practice our letters while having fun learning about horses. To begin class we will learn how to recognize and speak letters U-Z. Then we will have fun catching letters (and horses). We will then extend by practicing words that begin with these letters if we have time. Students can be beginner but some knowledge of letters would be helpful! The only thing required is a piece of paper and something to practice writing numbers with. I have attached worksheets that can be printed off to practice letters at home.

Hi! My name is Alyssa and I enjoy spending time outside. I love sharing my interest of the outdoors and animals with my students! I’m also passionate about everything to do with the upper Midwest and The Great Lakes. I also love music and learning about music. I have spent many years as a pianist, organist and clarinetist. My school background is also in Music.
My classes will draw on these interests while we also learn other skills such as reading and writing in the classroom.

I find drawing from other passions can help students learn fundamentals in the classroom. I also think that movement and music can help students with flow as well as remembering proper pronunciation and meaning.
