In this fun and engaging weekly class, kids will learn the letters of the alphabet! Each time we meet, we will introduce our new letter of the week and talk about what sound it makes. Each student will have a chance to show and tell items that start with that letter. We’ll sing a song or two and read a story that focus on the letter of the week. Then we will make our weekly craft! Students will be introduced to the letters of the alphabet and will improve their letter recognition skills.
Activity suggestions will be provided to continue practicing the letter of the week outside of class time. These are purely suggestions- not required.
I will attach a file in the classroom each week for the new letter of the week. You will usually need scissors, glue, and paper for the craft each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
I recommend a parent be present or at least nearby as these are such young learners.
