Learn Spanish Through Song!
In this 1-time class, students will learn some simple songs to launch a lifetime of learning Spanish! Children will be engaged, move, dance, and learn simple vocabulary that will teach them Spanish phrases before the end of the class!

Students will: Learn songs in Spanish, participate in vocal warm ups, dance, draw, and follow lyrics to new songs and vocabulary. The songs will include simple grammar and vocabulary for learning some phrases in Spanish. My classes are upbeat and fun and I do take time to listen to students, answer questions, and engage them to my best ability. Songs are taught by call and response, where I sing then students repeat. It's great for students who want an introduction into Spanish and musical concepts! No experience required and students of all abilities are welcome!

Parental Guidance
Students will be asked to stand, move, and dance. This part is optional and students can participate sitting if they desire.
Please be aware of this short fitness component and have an area where students can move and dance close to their computers free from wires, or any obstructions on the floor is possible. Thank you!
Supply List
Students can bring: A hand drum, or plastic plate and spoon to use as a drum. Paper and writing utensil for short drawing time. Water in case they need to hydrate after dancing!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

¡Hóla! I'm Sra. Sara (Señora Sara). My dream was always to be a teacher and as soon as I graduated High School, I was working in Elementary School classrooms, teaching chorus classes, interning, and volunteering wherever I could to help children learn! I've had the opportunity to teach children of a wide spectrum of abilities and ages. I worked at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts for 14 years, and most recently since 2010 have been teaching early childhood music in Spanish all over Los Angeles, California! During 2020 my teaching made a shift online to teaching private lessons and group chorus. I've had great success teaching children and adults online and I'm very excited to reach more people all over the world through the Outschool Platform!
