In this beginners Spanish class, learners will learn animal words (and even some numbers) in Spanish by having fun playing lotería (bingo game) and be introduced to Mexican culture. Let's have some fun as we say..corre y se va con la rana!

Students will have fun while learning animal names in Spanish. Maestra Saida will do an introduction about the traditional lotería game and share her experiences playing lotería with her abuelita. We will play bingo (lotería) to practice identifying and pronouncing the animal names in Spanish. This class is for beginner Spanish speakers. Class will be conducted in Spanish with some English support as needed. Come and learn 1 of the 5 top languages spoken in the world in a fun and interactive way! Maestra Saida will be waiting to share the love of reading and language learning! Nos vemos en clase!

Supply List
Bingo card to be printed will be sent once student enrolls. Bring 12-15 markers (goldfish, bingo chips, checker pieces, etc.) to use with the bingo card. Traditionally, bottle caps (fichas) are used in Mexico!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
