Want your child to feel confident in their Spanish abilities? With this 3 class course, students will be immersed in Spanish from the beginning until the end of each class! Through engaging stories, catchy songs, and fun games, students will learn and improve their abilities to listen, read, speak, and write in Spanish! Each course will cover an engaging theme that students will engage with in this Spanish Summer Camp. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: Pets and Animals, Esports, Social Media, Theater, Arts, Family, Summer, Culture, Food, etc! (Each week a new theme will be covered, reenroll to expereince and learn about a whole new Spanish theme!) A typical class routine is as followed (but may be adapted for learners in the course) 1.) Introductions 2.) Learn vocabulary 3.) Engage with a story and/opr song 4.) Follow-up activity (ie: game/activity) 5.) Review and say goodbye! WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE? *Learners with very beginning to limited amount of Spanish language experience *Learners who would like to use this class to stay on top of their Spanish throughout the Summer *Learners who want to try Spanish for the first time!

Hello and welcome!
My name is Chanel and I teach classes here on Outschool! In addition to teaching online, I also teach at a public school in NY and am the advisor for our Language Club!
I have a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction! I have experience living abroad in Spain, Ecuador, and Argentina as well as teaching both English and Spanish abroad.
I value a student-centered approach and make it my goal to make sure every student leaves class feeling confident in their Spanish abilities :)
