This class is taught in Spanish.
Comprehend sentence structures in Spanish. Learn a ton of new vocabulary words in Spanish. Work on pronunciation and responding to questions in Spanish. Get an understanding of the Mexican culture and the Day of The Dead tradition.
I have my masters degree in Spanish Education grades 5-12 and am certified in the culture of Latin American Studies. I have taught about this topic the past 25 years and studied Día de los Muertos throughout all of my studies. I have had the privilege of personally experiencing the Día de Los Muertos celebration through the Mexican culture! I am passionate about both the Spanish language and culture and I look forward to passing some of my knowledge on to you! I am also a trained CI teacher and have attended multiple CI (comprehensible Input) conferences and implement the CI teaching strategy into my lessons.
I will provide optional activities after each lesson to reinforce what we discussed in class.
