Welcome to sight word practice! In this 25 minute ongoing class we will meet once a week to learn and practice sight words in the enchanted forest with unicorns, rainbows and princesses. Over the course of 13 weeks we will cover the 40 sight words on Dolch's Preschool list. These words are great for preschool and kindergarten and even first graders who need extra help. Sight words are not the only way to learn to read, so if you want to add phonics practice you can check out my Learn to Read Beginner Phonics Classes. Since this is an ongoing course your learner can come for just one class or every single week. Each week we will cover three new sight words. We will have fun learning these words, spelling them out and using them in sentences. Hello! I absolutely love reading, writing and language and I believe fostering that starts with our littlest learners. I enjoy diving into literature and making the story come alive, while also helping to foster comprehension skills, vocabulary development and critical thinking.
