Class Experience
We will work our way through the Saxon Math 7/6 book. Each week, we will cover a few different sections of the book and go over the assignment from the previous week. This is a great session for homeschoolers or anyone that wants extra instruction and review. For private tutoring, sessions can be tailored depending on the student's needs. Each class will start with a warm-up problem. Then, we will go over the assignment from the previous session. I will answer any questions and work...
I'm a certified teacher for 4-8 generalist, which includes math. I also have a Master's degree in Education. I have a minor in Business and Business Foundations Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin. I've been teaching and tutoring math since 2004. I have taught math classes using the Saxon Math books and am very familiar with the curriculum.
Individual homework assignments from the book, worksheets, tests, and quizzes. The assignment will take about 1 hour of time each week.
