Description
Class Experience
Artech has been teaching kids to code and get creative with technology for more than 15 years. Our instructors craft highly dynamic and creative programs and classes. We incorporate the creative arts to engage and encourage creative problem solving. We provide a creative, inclusive and socially stimulating learning environment that will boost your child’s: Self-Esteem, Independence and Creativity.
We encourage all participants to further their learning after the workshop with: 1. Experimentation at home 2. Enrolling in another workshop, camp or course - I would be happy to suggest something (taking into consideration your Learner's interests and abilities!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
All participants will receive a Certificate for participating in this Workshop!
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
We will be using the Processing 4 Python suite. Parental Consent is required for Learners under the age of 13. It can be downloaded and installed on Windows or Mac Computers. Unfortunately, iPads, Tablets and Chromebooks cannot download or run this software.
