Homework
1-2 hours per week. After each class, students will be assigned to complete a specific number of pages from the course book. It will not be checked for correctness, but if students have problems they will be able to take a screenshot of their screen and send it to me for additional assistance.
Assessment
Assessments will be be offered by means of Zoom's poll feature. They will be offered at the conclusion of each lesson. Students are required to take the quizzes.

If you’ve seen the any major Hollywood blockbuster, then you’ve already seen Fusion in action! Over a 1000 major films have used Fusion to create their stunning visual effects since 2015. It’s built into DaVinci Resolve and features a node based workflow with hundreds of 2D and 3D tools. Used by professional studios and independent filmmakers alike, this course will introduce you to all the features of this powerful (and free) software. 

Fusion is ideal for everything from quick fixes such as retouching and repairing shots to creating true Hollywood caliber effects. You can use it to clone out an unwanted mic, replace a sign, create dynamically animated titles or even place characters into 3D scenes. It's your new secret weapon for visual effect and motion graphics! No previous background in visual effects is required. 

This is an in-depth, immersive 10 month course designed to teach you the complete fundamentals of VFX and you will also have the option to get certified from Davinci Resolve at the end of the course!

As a visual effects artist, you'll wield the power to transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary realms, crafting worlds beyond imagination.

NOTES:
It is strongly encouraged that you have TWO monitors, this way as I teach the course you can follow along with me on one monitor and repeat the same actions on the other. 

The entire course is 10 months long (January through May, then August to December). 

This course is for beginners but it is preferable that you have some experience using Davinci Resolve.
