Description

Class Experience

Students will become better editors by:
- Learning how resolution works with final image quality
- Understand the difference (and work with) global and selective edits
- Unlock the power of using the histogram and Curves
- Learn how white balance and color impact their photos.
- How cloning and masking can elevate their photography.
Students will be completing projects on their own time starting from week one. I would expect that different students are at different levels of involvement with photography, so they may put more or less time into it as necessary.

I would say an average of 1-3 hours per week is what is needed to go through the content and complete the projects.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Students need access to some type of editing platform on either a PC or Mac, or on a tablet. In some cases, even a phone might work! If you have questions on what programs might work for this, just reach out to ask. I would recommend: Photoshop, Lightroom, Affinity Photo, Luminar, Snapseed (mobile/iPad), or Capture One. Pixlr.com is also a great free option that allows users to do almost everything we go over class
Students will receive feedback in two fundamental ways:
1 - From the Instructor. I will make sure to give video and written feedback to all students on a weekly basis.
2 - From Each Learner. I facilitate a positive and constructive classroom, and I ask that students give each other positive but honest feedback.
No live meetings, and no time outside of class.
