Through singing, dancing, and drawing, we will learn to name many body parts and their function. Several songs will be used to make learning fun! Clap your hands One fine face Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes Count on me Mat man Ten little fingers ... and more This is class is designed to not only teach the name and function of many body parts, but to also help little learners begin to draw people figures with added details to include many of the body parts we learn. Have some space to move for dances like "Head Shoulders, Knees and Toes" ( can be done from a chair) and also bring paper and crayons to class to practice drawing a person.
Learning Goals
Students will draw a person with more details, including eyes, ears, nose, mouth, body, etc. We will also learn the function of different body parts (ie. Eyes can see, ears can listen)

Parental Guidance
Please remain in the room with your child and monitor them to ensure they are staying safe. Of needed, you can model dance motions and help them follow along, pointing to body parts as we sing songs by standing behind, or next to the computer, out of view. Have a hard surface near by with paper and crayons for when it is time for your child to draw.
A 3ftx3ft space minimum is required for dancing and movement. Dances can be done from a seated or standing position.
