In this course we will learn about some heroic and fearless women that made history! We will use their stories as inspiration to draw and paint with watercolor.

Class Experience

Let's learn about some fearless & heroic women in history in an artistic way! In this class, we will learn about one fearless woman. We will read about her and discuss her impact on history. We will then draw inspiration from her story to paint a scene with watercolor. 

We will explore watercolor in new ways. I will demonstrate techniques or skills but learners are free to get creative with their artwork. We will work on skills like paintbrush precision and control, color saturation,...

Students will learn some women's history and draw real-world inspiration to create beautiful artwork. Students will become comfortable with watercolor and learn techniques they can use over and over again. They will learn the basic aspects of working with watercolors as well as an understanding of basic brush control and precision.
