Class Experience
During this Moana themed class we are going to learn an upbeat dance to Moana's "How Far I'll go" remixed version. The first half of class will consist of a warm-up and stretch to make sure our muscles are warm and ready to dance. We will practice steps that will be in the dance covered, and then in the second half of class we will learn the choreography! Interaction among each other is encouraged. The goal of this class is to learn choreography, practice movement and have fun while doing it!
I have been teaching dance for more than 15 years. I have my Bachelor of Arts degree in dance and currently run my own dance studio. I love to dance and teach every style. Teaching choreography is my favorite part because I get to see the passion in you, the student, come alive! If you have any concerns or questions regarding this class. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner's progress is assessed throughout the class with instructor correction of the execution of steps and how to perform a step easier or more efficiently on his or her body.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I take proper pre-caution in the beginning of class to make sure all students warm up their bodies well and understand to what point they can safely push themselves.
