For many years turkeys have played a role in our Thanksgiving traditions. There are a lot of interesting facts to learn about this bird that originated in America. In this one-time class, your child will learn information about domestic and wild turkeys while having a lot of fun. As soon as we begin class, students will be given step-by-step instructions on how to draw a turkey. Once their turkey is complete they will learn interesting facts about turkeys. Students will see who can find all the turkeys in disguise while learning fun facts about turkeys. Everyone will enjoy a good laugh as we hear turkey jokes during the laughter challenge. If your child likes to learn, laugh, draw, and have fun, they will enjoy this class. Information will be presented in a slide show presentation. Students will also play a review game following the lesson. Your child needs a pencil and paper for this class. If they would like to color their turkey they should also bring crayons or markers. At the end of class, students will be challenged to make a disguise for their turkey and add a caption. All students are welcome to bring turkey jokes to share with the class. I look forward to seeing your child in this fun class all about turkeys.
