This course uses popular Korean music to introduce learners to commonly used Korean words. In each class, we will watch a BTS music video (or parts of it) and then explore some of the key Korean words highlighted in that song. This course is not intended to be a robust language learning course. It is just a fun way for learners to boost the number of words in their Korean vocabulary in a fun, musical way. No grammar points will be explained in detail. Each class will focus on a different BTS song, as listed below: Class 1: Run Class 2: Blood, Sweat and Tears Class 3: Spring Day Class 4: Danger

Hello, my name is Madison Brand, and I have several passions and areas of expertise that I'm excited to share with learners on Outschool.
First, I have a master's degree in Linguistics and ESL, and I have taught university-level English and writing classes. I love linguistics, which encompasses the way that languages work as well as how people learn languages, and I love sharing this passion with others.
My second and perhaps greatest passion is the Korean language and culture, which I have studied for over 11 years.
