Learn Japanese for Kids 5!

This class is the fifth course of the Learn Japanese for Kids series, and I am so excited to see you again!  In this course, we will continue to expand our Japanese vocabulary and increase speaking, listening, and conversational fluency in Japanese.  We will cover a variety of new vocabulary topics, including free time activities, sports, shopping, cooking, fruits & vegetables, country names, foreign languages, and much more!  We will continue to practice more complex sentence structures and grammar, and we will use what we learn in everyday scenarios to help your child practice what they have learned in an immersive, natural way. Each class will include a review of basic conversation, an introduction to new vocabulary, a simple grammar structure to practice newly learned vocabulary, a short Q&A to review vocabulary, and a game/song/activity to further practice what we have learned.  Students will have the opportunity to interact with one another and ask increasingly complex questions in Japanese.  This class is a great way to expand your child's Japanese vocabulary and increase their confidence in speaking in a fun and educational environment!

Week 2: Sports (Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Volleyball, Tennis, Golf, "Which sports do you play? I play ___!")
Week 3: Shopping (To Go Shopping, Store, Money, Receipt, To Buy, "What will you buy? I will buy a ___")
Week 4: Fruits (Orange, Strawberry, Watermelon, Peach, Pear, Grapes, "What do you want? I want a ___.")
Week 5: Vegetables (Potato, Carrots, Tomato, Bell Pepper, Cucumber, Pumpkin, "What do you want to eat? I want to eat ___!")
Week 6: Cooking (To Cook, To Wash, To Cut, To Mix, To Eat, Delicious, "What will you cook? I will cook ___!") 
Week 7: Country Names (Japan, United States, England, Mexico, France, Germany, "Do you like ___ cuisine?")
Week 8: Foreign Languages (Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, "Which language do you speak? I speak ___!")
