Learn Italian with a native speaker! Level 1 Italian: 30 minute classes. In this multi-day course, we will learn basic vocabulary and sentences in Italian. I will guide students through the classes with an interactive approach to learning. First, a little bit of background about me: I am a native Italian speaker from Florence, Italy with a degree in Communication Science from the University of Pisa. I have over four years of teaching experience in ESL and in Italian as a second language. I am extremely passionate about teaching and very lively in class. I want my students to have fun while learning. What will students learn in this course? In class, we will apply vocabulary and sentences to games and interactive activities. Outside of class, students will receive the materials to practice at home. The students will have two classes a week. The first class will introduce the theme of the week and the main vocabulary. In the second class of the week we will add some extra vocabulary and review the previous lesson. I will focus class time on learning, applying what we learned and practicing independently. Having two shorter classes is the best way to keep the ideas fresh and have constant exposure to the language. Class sizes will be smaller to support the students and help them with pronunciation.
