- Students will learn how to use Immersive Reader tools on a variety of different Microsoft platforms (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, websites through Microsoft Edge)
As a Special Education teacher, I provide assistive technology accommodations to many of my students, and I teach them to use Immersive Reader at my school as early as third grade. I love Immersive Reader because it's free, accessible to all, and it "levels the playing field" for students who struggle with reading, writing, and just study/research skills in general.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses: Microsoft Word
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental Guidance statement: Resources used outside of Outschool include Microsoft Word.
Student should have access to Microsoft Word.
