Students will learn how to use Immersive Reader tools on a variety of different Microsoft platforms (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, websites through Microsoft Edge)
As a Special Education teacher, I provide assistive technology accommodations to many of my students, and I teach them to use Immersive Reader at my school as early as third grade. I love Immersive Reader because it's free, accessible to all, and it "levels the playing field" for students who struggle with reading, writing, and just study/research skills in general.
Homework Offered
Upon completion of the class, my Immersive Reader PowerPoint presentation will be shared. Learners will be encouraged to keep practicing using Immersive Reader!Assessments Offered

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses: Microsoft Word
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental Guidance statement: Resources used outside of Outschool include Microsoft Word.
