This class is now self-paced to allow for more information to be delivered with more time to practice coding skills. A playlist of videos will be provided for lessons and quizzes to test retention of knowledge. Because coding takes practice, a blog assignment is provided. This can be done all at once or in split into different weeks.

After you sign up
Please provide an email address so I can allow shared access to the necessary files in Google dive. I am available by email to review pages for troubleshooting. Please do not send me sites to ask my opinion on they appear or changes to be made. I will only review sites for mistakes. When you send me an email, be sure to include the class name in the subject for a faster reply.
This is a basic class for younger kids to become familiar with the tags, elements, and attributes for coding.

By the time you finish this class, you will be able to create a basic web page.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been creating web pages and developing applications since 1996. I write 6 different code languages.

Believe it or not, when I have spare time, I create web sites. My other interests include, creating picture books for children, editing books, reading books, making my daughter laugh and brain storming with my husband for the next wild hair project. I created a web site for that too. These ideas get so crazy, I just had to document the growth process.

When you love your work, the line between work and play is blurry.
