Zombie Apocalypse Survival Class for Kids & Teens – Fun, Interactive, and Practical Preparedness Training In this exciting and imaginative one-time class, your learner will dive into the world of zombie apocalypse survival while gaining real-world emergency preparedness skills. Although the class is taught with a fun and fictional twist, the survival strategies covered can help students prepare for real-life situations like natural disasters or unexpected emergencies. In this class, students will learn: What essential supplies to stock for at least 1 year of survival Where to find food, water, and critical supplies during an emergency How to fortify a home (board windows, reinforce doors, install cameras) Creating a reliable escape plan Effective strategies for sheltering in place Tips on avoiding infection and protecting yourself How to build makeshift body armor and weapons Techniques for masking scent to avoid detection How to form a survival team with a variety of valuable skills Skills to learn that boost long-term survival chances Ways to fight boredom and stay mentally strong This class is designed to be highly interactive, encouraging students to share their ideas and participate in discussions. However, shy learners are always welcome to observe and learn quietly—no pressure! Learning Goals
This class is not meant to be taken seriously. It’s meant to be fun, yet educational. My goal with teaching about how to survive a zombie apocalypse is to have fun, yet teach kids how to be prepared for all sorts of disasters. Yes they will have fun role playing and talking about a zombie apocalypse, but mostly the knowledge they will gain on urban preparedness is priceless.Other Details
Parental Guidance
We will be talking about zombies. Creatures that hunt and bite humans to also turn them into walking, dead, creatures. I am not going to be very gory or extreme in describing zombies. But zombies can be scary, so each parent should take that into consideration, and decide to have your student take this class at your own risk. I will NOT be teaching this class from a perspective of this being a very realistic scenario. I am going to more or less teach it from a fun, yet fictitious perspective. However, we will talk about viruses, infectious diseases, makeshift weapons, and general survival skills.

I don't show any bloody pictures or videos or anything like that though.

My experience in surviving a zombie apocalypse comes from an array of life experiences and training.
-I have been an Urban and Wilderness Survival instructor on Outschool for almost 4 years.
-I have taught Urban and Wilderness Survival for over 10 years.
-I was a firefighter/first responder for 10 years
-I was in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 ½ years.
-I am a prepper. Someone who is prepared with knowledge and supplies for any type of disaster.
-I have been through several life or death situations, and have real world knowledge of what it is like to actually be in a survival situation.
