The 4 S's - Score, Slip, Squish, & Smooth
WHAT YOU NEED FOR CLASS: Clay (Crayola Air-Dry Clay, Sculpey Air-Dry Clay) Clay Tools and Gadgets (toothpicks, small cookie cutters, wooden craft sticks, rulers, toothbrush, plastic knife/fork) Newspaper or scrap canvas pieces to cover your work surface. Containers to store unused clay Water (shallow bowl or saucer to make slip for dipping fingers) Mat or other protective covering for the worksurface and possibly surrounding floor.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
