Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to read a list of sight words so they can read a story which includes those sight words.

Homework-memorizing the sight words, writing the sight words, and reading the stories with the sight words. Parents can do this with their child three times a day-morning, afternoon, and evening. The stories are half a page to two pages long as the class progresses.
Writing paper, pencils, markers, white boards, expo markers, and index cards (for flashcards).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be an informal assessment-writing of sight words turned in, recording of students reading sight words, and recording of reading stories to show comprehension.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
