*NOTE: DOWNLOAD OF AMONG US GAME REQUIRED BEFORE CLASS. Your game must be the updated version in order for you to access the private server.* Is your learner totally new to Among Us? Or have they played a few times and are unsure about what to do? If yes, this is the class for them! Many parents and students remark that I am a very patient teacher. We will spend around the first 15 minutes of class covering the basics of gameplay and strategy. Students will then join me on a private Among Us server so that they can try out the game and get their feet wet. This is a great environment for them to be able to learn, ask questions, and practice with other beginners. While we aim to learn and play by the rules, I also emphasize teamwork, patience, and good sportsmanship. Students can feel free to take this beginner class as many times as they like to increase their comfort level in the game. Among us is a very interactive and fun game that involves a group of crewmates on a spaceship. But there is an imposter! Or two! Join me as we work together to complete tasks and to try to find the imposter or imposters among us! We will mute our microphones while we are working on the ship so we do not reveal our role. When a meeting is called, students will discuss their thoughts on who the imposter is and why. The game also has a chat feature; students will be safe because I will be hosting a private game session. We will play as many rounds as time allows. Players will have to use their deductive reasoning and communication skills to work as a team. Students should have 2 devices for the class. For example, they can take the class on Zoom on a PC or tablet, and they can play on a tablet, phone or game system or computer. The exact configuration is your choice. The mobile APP is free. The game should be downloaded before class time so that they are ready to play when they enter class. *** I will always play in the game. We will need at least 3 students in the class for the game to be activated. If we do not get enough players enrolled in the class, I will transfer or refund students. ***** Please message me and let me know if you would like me to schedule the class at a time that you do not see listed (include your location/time zone and requested time range. ****** This class is for beginners only, so we will not be entering the game for around the first 15 minutes of this class. I also offer classes and ongoing weekly clubs where we will enter the Among Us app and start playing right away. Please see my other listings. The game involves deception and being incognito. Learners should be ok with possibly being wrongly accused of being the imposter, and with being voted out as the imposter. It is all in the fun spirit of the game. Are you the imposter among us? I can't wait to find out!
