In this class, learners will paint a Moon with no experience necessary! This is a beginner-friendly class, so you do not have to know how to paint to complete this awesome painting. This will be an hour long class, where we will start with ice breakers then transition into painting. We will learn fun facts about the Moon and planets with multiple Moons! Students will paint along with me while learning the basic fundamentals on how to create texture in a painting. We will learn the best techniques for create a realistic Moon. In addition to the class being taught in an aesthetically pleasing art studio area, learners can expect a fun and energetic learning environment. By the end of class they will have created a wonderful masterpiece.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basic fundamentals on how to create texture using their fingers! We will learn the best techniques for create a realistic Moon. We will also learn how to easily blend acrylic paint with different tools around us.

Supply List
CANVAS. This class time is allotted for an 11x14 canvas size. Feel free to use canvas paper or watercolor paper as well. ACRYLIC PAINT. Colors needed are : White and Black BRUSHES: 1" Flat Brush, 12" round brush. Keep in mind, you do not have to get brushes with these exact measurements. A big and medium brush with a pointed tip will work perfectly fine. White paper plate (paint palette) Water Cup Napkins Apron (optional)
