- This is an intermediate level drawing class. I would recommend it for kids that have prior drawing experience and what do move their drawing skills to another level. Age is not a limit to our experience and I have seen young kids do really well in these classes as well, but it is geared towards the kids that already have some drawing experience. - We will learn how to analyze research image and draw accurate proportions using primitive geometrical shapes like: oval, square, rectangles and trapezoids. - We will learn about different color pencil techniques and focus on how to creating different color values with color pencils while controlling the pressure we apply to the paper. -If learners feel inclined they are encouraged to share their knowledge about dinosaurs and I will share some too! ***Teaching style: I will adapt my teaching style towards the needs of the student! Every child comes to the class with a different background and skills and I will take that into consideration and focus on what I believe will provide each student with the most growth per class. I want my students to feel excited and feel free to express their creative side in a non-pressure environment which I believe every art class should be! Looking forward to having you in class!
