In this course we will learn how to draw cute 3/4th view anime girl eyes that POP off your paper. The main picture of the eyes above is my original picture. I will be showing students how to draw the exact picture. In the beginning of the class, I will welcome students. In the remaining duration of the class, we will focus on how to draw. The first steps will include simple shapes that we are all familiar with like ovals and lines. We will then work our way to adding detail to the eyes. To make the eyes “pop” we will use techniques such as adjusting line weight, shading and highlighting. At the end of the course, the student will be able to know how to draw anime eyes from beginning to end, shade, highlight and add lashes and eyebrows for the last touch. Prior experience is needed. I have been drawing every since I was young and have had the pleasure to work on a couple of freelance projects over the years for musicians, authors and personal requests. Outside of my love for art, I am a mother, an Army Vet and an ESL teacher. My techniques are broken down to the simplest form in order to help every student understand how to create art. I believe drawing is a beautiful ability that everyone possesses. This ability allows a person to express something invisible from their imagination into something tangible that they can kept forever. The feeling of completing an art piece is amazing in itself. Unlocking those abilities in others is something I love doing. I like to view my personality as patient, understanding and fun.
