Learn How to Draw - Art Fundamentals for Beginners Level 1-2

This class is meant to improve your concept of drawing ✍️ the goal is to breakdown each fundamental each week ! 🤗

In this 8-week drawing course, students will learn the art fundamentals! We will look at proportions, color, line, composition, contrast, texture, form, and space. These elements are the building blocks of any artwork! Classes will start with a brief greeting, then a slide of what we will learn that week.

Using an overhead second camera, I will instruct students step by step on how to draw/create their drawings. As well as showcase different artistic techniques for each student to apply to their work. Each week will have a different subject/theme! I encourage a social atmosphere and conversation between students connecting through art. 


1-Contrast- Eye Drawing 
2-Color-Fruit ( we will be drawing and colouring a fruit) 
 3-Proportion and scale- comparing two objects or face drawing
4-Texture - Exploring how to draw different textures -
5-Form - How to give pictures volume and form-
6-Line - Exploring types of lines to create art
7-Composition- Landscape Drawing using symmetry 
8-Space- Horses in field or landscape drawing (Smaller in the distance and large close-up) 

Students will gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of art and become a more confident artist! No experience is necessary, however, basic drawing skills is recommended.
