Learn Gujarati - Level 2 (Flex)

Once you’ve built up your vocabulary by learning some basic Gujarati vocabulary & phrases, it’s time to move on to learning key phrases. There are NO live meetings for this class. The material will be posted weekly and you can view it during the week at your convenience. Each week for 10 weeks students will be guided through a variety of vocabulary and sentences with videos that I have pre-recorded, along with games, flashcards, songs, and much more.

In this 10 weeks, students will learn grammar rules and learn the Gujarati sentence structure. This will help them to make their own sentences and make them ready for the basic conversations. Students will learn basic sentences like I play, I play with my sister, what are you playing? whom are you playing with? boy is going to school at 8 o'clock..

Homework will be a combination of written and video assignments. I will always reply by video to your submissions, with feedback on pronunciation and progress. Students will also practice their vocabulary skills with each other in the Outschool classroom by posting introductions, playing bingo together, posting

My classes are tailored around the students so curriculum will change depending on the students - how fast or slow they pick up the concepts.

Topics covered are:

Week 1 - Verbs & Present Tense
Week 1 will focus on introducing 3 to 4 verbs, pronouns  and learn all about our very first tense, Present Tense. 

Week 2 - Adding objects and preposition.
Week 2 will focus on adding objects and learning our first preposition along with the sentence structure.

Week 3 - More Prepositions
Week 3 will focus on adding more words and prepositions.

Week 4 - More Prepositions
Week 4 will focus on adding more words and prepositions.

Week 5 - Quiz

Week 6  - Present tense with other pronouns.
Week 6 will focus on present tense with pronoun ("we").

Week 7 - Present tense with other pronouns.
Week 7 will focus on present tense with pronouns ("He/she","they")

Week 8 - Read the passage
Week 8 will focus on reading the passage and interpreting it.

Week 9 - More practice reading
Week 9 will focus on reading another passage and interpreting it.
