Class Experience
Explore English grammar in a fun way. Count out 8-beat measures in music. Follow along in a guided group activity. Perform your best in a final group jam session.
The instructor is a creative writing coach, professional editor, and award-winning author and journalist. She has a background in performing arts, including singing, acting, and dancing. She writes song and poetry and performs valley-wide in addition to teaching creative writing courses online for junior reporters, authors and poets.
Students will be expected to have their song lyrics printed out BEFORE the start of class. Enrolled students will have the opportunity to view a video of the song in its entirety to hear the anticipated result. Remember... we will start SLOWLY and work our way up to the final performance speed.
1 file available upon enrollmentA YouTube link to the "final performance" version of the song will be included upon enrollment. Please be sure to listen to it at least once before we begin so students are familiar with the overall direction of the song.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There are NO foul words. The full song lyrics can be previewed upon enrollment. Class Rules: Enrolled Students Only. Cameras ON. Voices ON.
